Lol. Nice.

I'm fond of konqueror's integration with the rest of the operating system. It lets me control amarok, do FTP stuff, browse network places and alter system settings all from one side panel which is pretty nifty. Swiftfox is still the nuts for web content at speed though. I am however considering ditching gnome-desktop, i haven't booted into it since i installed kubuntu-desktop, which is saying something. I also feel that QT apps are feeling fuller, overall KDE is much more sophisticated than Gnome. Of course i might miss V:LC and firefox, so we'd have to see.

It would also be rather sad to say good bye to gmusicbrowser, its an awesome media player, incredible tray icon controls.

I assume you've realised that you can still use GNOME apps in KDE?

VLC and gmusicbrowser work fine. I still prefer Kaffiene and AmaroK in KDE, but they still work perfectly well.

You can sort that by using the "qt" GTK theme.

Heck- it's in the Kubuntu Dapper Control Centre, I think. You can set the GTK apps to hand over their drawing to Qt with an option.

Makes them integrate so much more nicely.
