Fortunately, the issue has now been settled in the only sensible way: advanced mathematics.
News - Epic cancels Gears of War Kinect title

Gears of War's rumoured Kinect outing will never see the light of day, according to the developer's design director.

Epic Games very own Cliff Bleszinski said in a recent interview that Gears of War: Exile, an on-rails spinoff reportedly designed to be a motion-controlled Kinect exclusive, has been canned after disappearing from the rumour mill's radar several months ago.
News - Quantic Dream Unveil Kara

Quantic Dream, creators of Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit have released the first signs of their next game, in the form of a seven-minute tech demo Kara. The video, which runs in real-time on a regular PS3, focusses on an android being constructed and tested, before beginning to display human emotions to the surprise of her creator.

The main purpose of the demo is to show off some very impressive-looking new facial animation technology, which looks like a serious rival for the Motion Scan technology used in last year's L.A. Noire. In fact Quantic Dream claim that the video is based on year-old technology, and the current version is 50% more advanced.
This move will effect Xbox Live, Windows Phone and the Zune Marketplace as developers with upcoming downloadable content are briefed to plan ahead for the change.<br
